Just Can’t Resist – “You’ve Got This” Stamp Set

You've Got This silver

I have to say I really can’t stop the ideas with this stamp set.  It has really got me excited.

Today’s card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest, adding the circle and giving the flower a partial black background.

I stamped off the background stamp twice before adding it to Very Vanilla cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and love the soft grey effect it has left.  The flower stamp is also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Using a template from my Circles framelits, I added the circle over the top of my flower image and filled in the black areas around my flower with the Project life journalling pen.  I then re-stamped the image onto a piece of the ‘Typeset’ Specialty Designer Series Paper and fussy cut the stem and leaves. This was quite a delicate operation as once I added glue to the piece it wanted desperately to stick to my fingers only.  I matted my flower design onto basic black cardstock and before adding this with Stampin’ Dimensionals I placed two small pieces of chevron paper also from the Typeset SDSP  on the Brushed Silver base card.

My tip for today: To avoid the problem I had adding my leaves, carefully add the glue to the stamped image and add the leaves that way.
