We’ll be using our colouring pencils, aquapainters, Stampin’ UP! Ink pads and reinkers and we’ll make cards with our finished artwork.
Who can resist colouring and watercolouring? Such a relaxing activity. I was speaking to my sister in UK yesterday and she was sitting in her conservatory, eating crumpets and drinking her morning cuppa, whilst doing some colouring, I could just picture her there with her dogs at her feet.
Here is one of the cards we’ll be making in class using the ‘Sweetbriar Rose’ Stamp Set. I’ve stamped the image in Versamark and embossed in white, then watercoloured using aquapainters and ink pads. I love the soft finish you can achieve with this method of colouring.
Another card, this time coloured with colouring pencils and highlighted in white, this is very effective on Kraft cardstock, or as in this case, the Crumb Cake notecards. One stamp set, two very different results.
All projects are made using Stampin’ UP! stamps and inks.
Classes run for approximately 2 hours, with plenty of time to chat and enjoy the company of other craft lovers. Classes suit beginners and more advanced papercrafters, so if you have been thinking about learning how to make cards why not join one of my small friendly groups and learn all about this fabulous hobby?
