Small Box Die Christmas Card

I made the box from a Sizzix Die and retired stampin’ UP! Christmas cardstock from 2014.  All other products are current Stampin’ UP! products either from the current Annual Catalogue or the Holiday catalogue.

I fussy cut the deer and the Santa climbing down the chimney, from the absolutely gorgeous “Home for Christmas” Designer Series Paper.  For the top of my box I used a piece of kraft cardstock folded to fit the size of my box.  I then folded the top section in half to form my roof.  I used the Brick Wall Embossing Folder (AC) and ran it through my Bigshot, stopping halfway.  I adhered one half of the card to the top of my box.

My box was decorated with more papers from the Home for Christmas dsp, I sponged some red distress ink onto the roof and added some dazzling diamonds glitter and white chalk pen, then together with a little gift box tumbling down the roof, and a Merry Christmas label, the top of my box was complete.

There is a little 1/2″ deep drawer in my box so I made a matching card.  It measures just  3″ x 4″.  More fussy cutting for the little deer, and some distressing on core-dinations cardstock.DSC03211

Here he is sitting on top of the drawer.  I hope you like my little Christmas box card.
