Album for a friend’s birthday gift

September is a busy birthday month for me.  Many cards to make and send and a few special gifts.  I made this album for a special lady using paper from Ultimate Crafts Australiana Collection.

Rachel’s Album – Front Cover

Inside pages of the album.  The idea for this album came from a blogging friend who featured this album made into a birthday date book for her mum. Here is the link to her original post Paperpuff.   She had provided a link with instructions to make the album on her blog.  This is a terrific blog, very entertaining and worth stopping by.

Each page is made up to include a top pocket and tag.  The finished album is 71/4″ x 4″

6 double sided tags, one for each pocket. I have sponged the edges of everything with Stampin’ UP! Chocolate Chip.

I’m pleased to say the recipient was very happy with her album and I have now started on another quite different album using the same dimensions for another birthday gift.  I love making mini albums.

Hope your weekend has been lovely.

Happy Creating whatever it is you are currently making.
